Design Story
The 12 constellations originated from the Mesopotamian culture, one of the earliest civilizations in the world. There are also Greek mythological stories about the origin of each constellation，the artist drew it on the front of the coin necklace.
Similar to the 12 constellations, the 24 solar terms were determined in the ancient time by dividing the zodiac into 24 equal sectors measuring from the "spring vernal equinox", that comprises 12 major solar terms and 12 minor solar terms interlaced with each other. Hence the start of each zodiac sign in astrology always falls within about one day on a major solar term, the artist drew the name on the back of the coin necklace.
This double-sided customized necklace integrates 12 constellations and solar terms on both sides. They depict the story of "time".
The symbol of Four Phenomena（SiXiang）
The back of the coin is also engraved with the symbol of Four Phenomena（SiXiang）.In eastern ancient astronomy, the four symbols are represented by four mythical beasts, the azure dragon, the white tiger, the vermilion bird and the black tortoise in the east, west, north and south.
